Another Fresh Start

I love using my artwork to help make God famous. So this year we decided to reach out a little further and launch a Fundraising program. My husband and I have a heart to help ministries and individuals fulfill their calling. Our first approach is to give a portion of our total sales to a selected individual who is raising money for an upcoming missions trip or to a ministry.

Secondly, we wanted to come up with a way to help individuals and ministries raise money for projects they are working on. So I prayed about it and God reminded me about an awesome plan He gave me a few years ago. I thought to myself, “It worked then, it’ll work now.”

You wouldn’t know this but in 2010 I went through a very serious medical crisis. The medical co-pays were adding up along with all the “extras” I needed to complete the treatment. I prayed about it and asked God how I could help my husband financially since I wasn’t able to work. He answered me and said “make something and sell it”. To be totally honest, I scoffed at His solution. It was typical for me to sell my art and other handmade goods so it seemed too “simple”. I guess I was expecting something more “grand”. I’m sure God had a good laugh about that one. As the weeks went by, I asked Him again and His response was the same. This time I ran it by Aunt Sally and she came up with the same idea. That was confirmation for me so I proceeded to make a few scripture necklaces. I started to share them with others as did a few friends of mine. Long story short... my husband and I ended up making HUNDREDS of necklaces right on our dining room table. Every one of them sold and the finances I needed started to supernaturally roll in and covered the rest of the copays and all of the medications!!! THANK YOU JESUS!

Deuteronomy 8:18 says, But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Here’s a tip... when asking family and friends for their financial support, remind them that they’ll be purchasing some pretty cool Art Greeting Cards that are God-inspired. More importantly, remind them of the saying “Some will go and some will send”. They get to sow into the Kingdom by sowing into you and your calling!
